Soapbox Moms: Rewriting Your Story

Everyone has a story like this: There you are minding your own business when someone offers unsolicited advice or (gasp!) criticizes your parenting choices. We have all had moments where we didn't stand up for ourselves or didn't advocate for our kids in the moment, and thinking back on these times can often cause distress and guilt. In this special informal meetup, we'll hold space for sharing these stories to 1) release the guilt/shame, 2) feel less alone, 3) brainstorm ways we can meet these moments in the future by standing in our truth and building the courage to speak up.
