Calling all members! Come celebrate Pride Month with our newly branded ‘Between Three Pals’! This month we’ll sit with Documentary Photographer, Rebecca Aranda and Editor at Open Road, Mace Torres. Two creatives of two different mediums, but joined in their unwavering commitment to bring their whole selves to work. Their personal stories and insights will energize and inspire you. Mace Torres, Editor at Open Road

At its core, creative advertising is about telling stories, something Mace Torres was drawn to from the start. They joined Open Road in early 2017 as a Production Assistant and began to learn their craft, becoming an editor 4 years later and striving to create compelling stories for clients every day. Working late hours and weekends comes with the job title, but Mace keeps an open mind and tries to learn something from each and every project they work on. When they aren’t at work, you can find them at home with their fiancée Tori spending all their money on their very loud, very opinionated cat Lolli.

Rebecca Aranda, Documentary Photographer

Rebecca Aranda is a Mexican-American documentary photographer based in Los Angeles, with a focus on performance arts (film, TV, theatre) and educational organizations. They have shot a wide variety of live events and documentary work. Rebecca is proud to be a mentor with Las Fotos Project, working with teenage photographers in East LA.

Lena Ronan, Co-VP Mentorship, Soapbox Women

Lena is Co-VP of Soapbox Women’s Mentorship programs and a Campaign Operations Manager at Netflix. A relative newcomer to entertainment marketing, she started in print advertising almost a decade ago, maneuvering from print production to project management. She’s always inspired by the incredible people and creativity that surrounds her. Outside of work, you can usually find her hanging with her family, and chasing her toddler around.
